Originally hailing from the US, I taught year 10 and year 12 for several years before moving to Australia. In Sydney, I taught at a scholarship school focusing on preparing high school students for their senior exams. I also coached students at a tutoring center in Sydney, focusing on refining writing skills and literary comprehension. I truly enjoy working with students individually or in small groups to tailor to each student's specific needs. With a wide array of educational experiences, both in and out of the classroom, I can't wait to help your student's continued success!
I'm a third year student at the University Of Auckland studying Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
Studied NCEA at Rosmini College
-NZQA Scholarship in Chemistry, Statistics and Geography
-Proxime Accessit Dux at Rosmini College 2013
-Excellence endorsement in NCEA level 2 and 3
-Chemistry, Physics and Statistics endorsed with Excellence in level 3
I have 8+ years of experience working with students aged 10 to 18 in both NCEA and Cambridge systems, particularly those with dyslexia and on the Asperges/Autism spectrum. I've also tutored study skills (time management, exam preparation, etc. for all subjects) and NZQA Scholarship in arts subjects.
I am a third year student at the University of Auckland, studying a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. In 2017, I intend to study a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching.
In high school, I did NCEA for all my subjects and I also did Cambridge Maths on top of NCEA maths (so 2 lots of exams at the end of the year).
I attended Queen Margaret College in Wellington, and achieved both Merit and Excellence endorsements. Currently I am in my fourth year of a BA Honours degree (in Politics and International Relations) as well as a Law degree. As part of my undergraduate degree I double majored in Politics and International Relations as well as Film Television and Media studies. I also have taken papers in American History and Sociology both of which I received First in Course Awards.
I obtained an excellence endorsement at all three NCEA levels, as well as subject endorsements at excellence level in English, Statistics, Music, Biology and Chemistry. I was awarded the Excellence Scholarship from Victoria University (2015) and the Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship from Otago University (2015). Currently at Victoria, I am in my second year of a degree majoring in English Literature and Psychology achieving at an A grade average.

I tutored as a part of the 'Tutoring for students by students' programme at my school during 2014 and 2015. I also frequently tutor my friends and classmates at university by assisting with assignments and problems.
I have gained experience with younger people through babysitting. I often babysit children in my local area.
I also have experience teaching younger people through gymnastics. I attended recreational gymnastics classes for seven years and as a part of this I would lead warm-ups and help coach the younger girls. Generally, for the first hour of the class, I would coach a group of five younger girls through some skills and exercises.
