I have had one year of tutoring experience with my High School's 'Tutoring for Students by Students' program. I have also unofficially helped younger students and peers in the boarding house I stayed in last year. Currently I am studying engineering at the University of Canterbury.
I attended Samuel Marsden in Karori, Wellington. I completed NCEA with excellence subject endorsements in Level 1 Maths, Level 1 Science, Level 1 French, Level 2 French, Level 2 History and Level 3 History. I also gained two NZQA Scholarships, one in History and one in English. I am currently in my second year at Victoria University of Wellington, studying towards a conjoint Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, majoring in Development Studies, International Relations, Ecology and Biodiversity, and minoring in French.
I am entering year thirteen at Epsom Girls Grammar in 2017. I have achieved NCEA Level Two with excellence endorsement, and am waiting on results for subject endorsement. In NCEA Level One, I got excellence endorsed in English, History, Economics, Music and merit endorsement in Mathematics. Overall endorsement for Level One was excellence. I achieved a scholars' award for academic excellence (with results in the top 5% within my school year). I have achieved school awards throughout all my high school years, and in 2016 gained four awards in Level 2 History, Economics, English and Biology.
I am currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Auckland and graduated from Mount Roskill Grammar School in 2013. I have attained Excellence Endorsements for all three years of NCEA- with excellence subject endorsements in Biology, Chemistry, Calculus and Statistics in level 3. I have also received the NZQA Scholarship in Statistics in 2013.
Originally hailing from the US, I taught year 10 and year 12 for several years before moving to Australia. In Sydney, I taught at a scholarship school focusing on preparing high school students for their senior exams. I also coached students at a tutoring center in Sydney, focusing on refining writing skills and literary comprehension. I truly enjoy working with students individually or in small groups to tailor to each student's specific needs. With a wide array of educational experiences, both in and out of the classroom, I can't wait to help your student's continued success!
I'm a third year student at the University Of Auckland studying Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).

I am a third year student at the University of Auckland, studying a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. In 2017, I intend to study a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching.
In high school, I did NCEA for all my subjects and I also did Cambridge Maths on top of NCEA maths (so 2 lots of exams at the end of the year).
